Obligo Investment Management is very pleased to announce the completed acquisition of the Sunhultsbrunn wind park, located in the commune of Tranås in the Southern part of Sweden. The park, commissioned in 2015, consists of 4 Eno Energy eno100 wind turbines with a total capacity of 8.8MW and an annual electricity production of 22.4GWh, the equivalent of the consumption of more than 3,000 Swedish households. The new owner of the turbines and the operating company is Falcon Wind AB, an investment platform managed by Obligo, targeting wind assets in the South of Sweden. The transaction was sealed on January 25 and closed 3 weeks later on February 15 after a fast paced debt financing process.

The Head of Obligo’s Swedish operations Gilles Lafleuriel comments: “The Swedish team is delighted with this acquisition which confirms Obligo’s commitment to add exceptional assets to its wind platform. It also confirms our ability to deliver on our strategy in Sweden to contribute to a more sustainable energy system."
