We're thrilled to announce that Fastcharge.no has been awarded NOK 13.5 million from Klimaetaten i Oslo kommune to develop 10 new rapid chargers for heavy vehicles along critical west- and south-bound access roads! This initiative is part of Oslo's ambitious strategy to reduce emissions from heavy transport, which currently contributes 14% of the capital's total emissions.

With the city council's commitment to establish 55 charging points for trucks and buses, this latest round of funding will further enhance the charging infrastructure where it’s needed most. We are proud to be playing a key role in accelerating the transition to zero emissions in heavy transport.

As City Councilor for Environment and Transport, Marit Kristine Vea, aptly puts it, "The pace must increase in the transition to zero emissions in heavy transport. 10 new rapid chargers are 10 important steps towards zero emissions by 2030."

FastCharge is dedicated to ensuring that heavy transport operators can rely on a robust and efficient charging network, building confidence in a sustainable future for Oslo's transport sector.

This project builds on our earlier success at Alnabru, where the first supported station was opened in August. We are committed to supporting Oslo’s green transition, and we look forward to continuing this journey with our partners and the community.
