Construction is well underway for Fastcharge’s first charging station for electric heavy vehicles

Obligo, together with our partners at Hafslund and FastCharge's project manager visited the inaugural site which is being built with funding support from Oslo Municipality Climate agency.

Oslo municipality has set the target of becoming the world's first emission free large city. Given that heavy transport accounts for a quarter of emissions from road traffic and 14% of total emissions in Oslo, tackling this issue is an important step in achieving the target!

The site at Alnabru will be a large charging station for electric trucks and other heavy vehicles, with 10 fast chargers that can deliver up to 400 kW from Kempower. This will provide a long-awaited improvement in the situation for the many electric heavy vehicles that lack a good charging solution today, and makes it easier for more companies to make the transition to electric for their heavy transport.
